Native Cultures Room

Recreated dig-sites from local area. Featuring the Stole site - a bison butchering site east of town, and the Myers-Hindman site - representing 9,000 years of human hunting camp habitation. Also planned is an enriched display on the Anzick Site. It is an 11,500 year old human ceremonial burial with one of the largest caches of Ice Age artifacts ever found. See an extensive arrowhead display, a stone tool regional quarry site display, clay pots, atlatls, bison skulls with a bison latifrons (extinct bison) skull cast.
